A Standard of Excellence

Developing the leaders of tomorrow

KICS origins lie in a small infant school founded by a British teacher in the 1980’s. HaI El Matar Infant School was taken over by Mrs Samia Omar in 1999 when Mrs Moghraby returned to the UK. From 2004 the decision was taken by DAL Group to expand the infant school to create an academically rigorous international school with world class facilities and staff.

Under the leadership of our founding Principal, Mr Nigel Winnard, the school moved to its new campus in August 2005 with classes from Little KICS to Year 10 and expanded annually until our first graduating class left the school in May.

KICS primarySince then, every year we send Sudanese and international students from KICS to some of the best universities in the world, fulfilling the vision that is encapsulated in the school mission
