HSE Morning Tea: World Day for Safety and Health at Work

A morning tea event was held on the 26th of April 2016 to show support for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The theme of the event was “Work Place Stress: A collective challenge”.

Stress at work is a serious issue with numerous consequences like physical and mental health effects that could lead to poor performance, nevertheless together we can successfully manage and prevent it because your health is our concern.

Mohamed Musa the Sudanese Comedian was invited to perform as a way of reducing stress because like we all know laughter is the best medicine! A morning exercise was led by Mudathir Eltayeb (Karika), a famous Sudanese football player as a way to shed light on the importance of exercise to our health.

The HSE section would like to thank everyone who helped in making this event happen and to everyone who attended.A special thank you goes outto the Civil Defense Authorities and the HSE managers from GNPOC, PipelineCompany,theMinistry of Electricity and Occupational Health Department for attending.
