General Procurement Notice
As part of DAL Group and African Development Bank (AfDB) vision on:
• Promoting sustainable agricultural practices to Sudanese farmers, increasing food production, nutrition and food security by supporting farmers to plant 2007.5 acres by wheat in winter season 2025-2026 at Abu-Hamad locality, Nile river state – Sudan, and promote sustainable climate change-resilient farming practices (distribution of certified wheat seeds and support of harvesting processes).
• Contributing on combat desertification and conserve ecosystem at Abu-Hamad locality by planting 5,000 trees.
• Empowering 1000 youth (female and males) with AI knowledge and skills to contribute on transforming Sudan ecosystem (especially on agriculture and education sectors).
• Capacity building and enhance farmer’s technical knowledge, sustainable agricultural practices, and vocational education.
• Promoting small-scale livestock farming through provision of 400 goats as a support to youth (females and males), support household income and nutrition.
• Contribute on improving quality of life and empowering communities with better wellbeing through construction of 2 small-scale drinking water treatment units for 2 villages.
