The DAL Group Company Limited has received financing from Transition Support Facility and the African Development Bank (AfDB) and African Development Fund administrator of the funds and toward the cost of the Technical Assistance and Capacity Building for DAL Group Company Limited Sudan Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under a contract for the provision of IAS 29 and Other IFRS Training Services.

The objective of the assignment is to strengthen the technical capacity of DAL Group finance personnel in the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with particular emphasis on IAS 29 – Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies.

The selected consulting firm shall design and deliver practical technical training workshops for approximately eighteen (18) finance personnel over a period of five (5) working days.

The DAL Group Company Limited now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested firms must provide information demonstrating that they are qualified to perform the services, including but not limited to:

  • Company profile and brochure;
  • Experience in similar assignments;
  • Experience in IFRS technical training, particularly IAS 29;
  • Experience in training finance and accounting professionals;
  • Availability of qualified experts and trainers;
  • Experience in hyperinflationary environments or emerging markets (advantageous).

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy arrangement to enhance their qualifications.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at
